Rep. Ruben Gallego urges Congress to pass the DREAM Act before the end of the year

WASHINGTON, DC ­– Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-07) released the following statement:

"For thousands of Dreamers and their families, the deadline to pass a legislative solution isn't March- it's now. Every day, 122 Dreamers lose their DACA protection, are no longer able to work to support their families, and are placed at risk of deportation.

"The clock is ticking and we must act to resolve the crisis that President Trump created by rescinding DACA. It is critical that Congress act now and include the DREAM Act in the must-pass spending bill this week."
